Harmony Week at Sorrento Grammar was a powerful celebration of diversity and belonging. From Prep through to Year 12, students and staff came together to explore cultural identity, heritage and inclusion through engaging experiences across the week. Welcome Sorrento Grammar officially opened its brand-new Middle Years Learning Centre—a flexible, future-focused hub designed for students in Years 6 to 9. The light-filled building includes: Collaborative STEM spaces Multimedia studios Breakout zones for quiet learning A wellbeing lounge for student support “Every corner of this space was designed with the learner in mind,” said Deputy Principal of Learning, Ms Harriet Liu. “It’s about creating environments where curiosity and independence flourish.” The Centre was opened by alumna and education advocate, Dr Eliza Chan, who shared her own journey from Sorrento Grammar to global research fellowships in STEM education. Focus on exam results.
